Portal Large Platter

This piece is inspired by the work of Paul Klee, one of the fathers of abstract art. The eye is drawn to the orange slab in the middle of the piece – it has three dots to one side which suggest door handles, or key holes. The door is surrounded by urban structures – houses and skyscrapers and midnight blue sky.

It has a slightly organic rim, allowing the platter to be lifted with ease.

The dish is food safe and can be used with confidence.

The piece measures 40 cms x 40 cms.
